This sub-feature indicates the resistance to attacks using residual traces. This sub-feature covers both, thermal imaging cameras and attacks which target dirt deposits on the input surface. Although there are effective countermeasures which allow the user to directly eliminate traces, when rating the schemes it should be assumed that such countermeasures won't be used by most of the users reliably.
